Our trip into St. Louis was fun and tiring, we did a lot of walking.  The arch was amazing, I did not expect to be so excited about it.  We went to the top of it, you ride tiny capsules to the top almost felt like an enclosed ferris wheel.  We didn’t stay very long at the top it was a little freaky feeling up there.  Outside is just a nice park, between the 2 sides of the arch is a huge underground structure, with a museum, movie theater and stores.
The riverboat ride was not what I had expected, I did not think about all the industry on the river and was disappointed that was all we could see.  They are building a new bridge and we saw them lifting a Port-a-john in the air, I took a picture for Richard!
Jack wanted to go to the Loop, took us a while to get there and to find it, we were not disappointed, lots of great shops and restaurants.  We had not been looking for it, but happened to run into it Chuck Berry’s  ,Blueberry Hill Restaurant so we ate there, Thanks Beth for the heads up!
                                                        Home Sweet Home!
                                                        Capsule to top of arch.

Today we are going to the caverns, and tomorrow we are once again heading west.

  1. I'm so happy for the two of you—on the road, at Blueberry Hill, in your great camper, on top of the world in the Arch, on the path to more and more adventures. Retirement looks great with the Meades method! May the wind be at your back, may the road rise to meet you!
