We visited cahokia mounds , they have a really nice interpretive center, we also climbed the mound! Hope you can see from the pictures how much climbing that was. It was so worth it, the view was amazing!

We had a heck of a time finding a State park that was not booked up for the weekend, we had to go an hour west of St Louis, to  Meramec State Park, much cheaper than KOA and so much more relaxing, there are deer roaming the campground.

$2.99 for gas!!!!!

We are heading back to St. Louis today, we plan on doing a lot of sightseeing in the city
